King´s Kids Jerusalem in Finland, 17.-23.10.2013

A blessed tour with King's Kids -group to Finland is behind us and we thank God for His goodness! The youth from Israel and Palestine, Jews and Arabs, shared to Finnish people how God has given them power and love to overcome the hatred they have been grown up from their childhood, against each other. These young believers are coming from various backrounds; A Palestinian, from a Muslim backround, A Christian Israely Arab from Galilee and some Messianic Jews from Israel. Every evening the youth were singing and dancing in hebrew and in arabic and sharing their testimonies. The Finnish audience was suprised to hear a message of peace from the Middle East.

It was touching to meet friends of many years back and to get to know many new ones. We are thankful to the Heavenly Father for all our friends in this work - the old and the new ones - and we are praying that the fountains of blessings will be reciprocated also in the future.

The joint journey to Finland with the youth was again a proof of how God is using these opportunities of serving and travelling together for strenghtening and developing relationships inside the group.

It was great to witness conversations these young people had between them as they tried to understand, how their identity as an Israely Jew or -Arab or as a Palestinian has been built up over the years. The young Palestinian brother told, that he believes  the Word of God, and everything, what is written there about the Jewish nation and about their birth right to the land of Israel. At the same time he shared his feelings as a Palestinian, without many rights his friends in the other side of the boarder have and how many Palestinians suffer because of the way many of their unjust leaders´ rule their country. At the same time they also suffer as they are many times mistreated at the checkpoints because of many indiscreet young Israely soldiers.

We talked together about the fact, that all the nations in the Middle East live under the sin and they need a touch and the Salvation of the Prince of Peace. Also the mutual concern for sharing the gospel in Israel and in the Middle East is the issue, which is uniting brothers and sisters beyond the boarders.

Jeremiah 7:5-7 "If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever."
